WESTPORT — The public is invited to meet Police Department representatives at an informal “Coffee with a Cop” gathering Wednesday.
The event is planned from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at McDonald’s, 701 Post Road East.
Coffee with a Cop gatherings, organized regularly since 2011, provide an opportunity for the public to chat informally with police with no set agendas as a way “to build trust and help foster a sense of community,” according to event organizers.
