WESTPORT — A 51-year-old man faces several charges in connection with what police called a “domestic violence incident” last weekend.

James Longtie, of Westport, was charged May 20 with second-degree threatening, disorderly conduct and violation of a protective order, police said.

Officers were dispatched to investigate the report of a domestic altercation May 20, and after talking to the victim, determined that Longtie the “dominant aggressor,” according to the report.

Taken into custody, Longtie was later released after posting $1,000 bond. After arraignment this week, he is next scheduled to appear Aug. 4 at state Superior Court in Stamford, according to judicial records.
