WESTPORT — A stretch of Lyons Plains Road is closed to traffic early Thursday after a car crash brought down utility wires.
A traffic alert was issued about 4:15 a.m. Thursday, and emergency officials warn that Lyons Plains Road, between Tuck Lane and Coleytown Road, has been cordoned off to traffic because of the accident.
The road will be closed “until further notice” while emergency operations continue at the scene.
