Jerry Hodges, 81, of Norwalk, passed away on March 29.

Jerry was born Aug. 5, 1940, in Norwalk, son of the late John and Ruth Hodges. 

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy; he was an independent truck driver and heavy machine operator. He was most happy being surrounded by his family. He enjoyed music and riding his Harley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sheila, and three children, Jerry (Melissa) of Milford, Thomas (Jessica) of Norwalk and Melissa (Patrick) Meade of Schoharie, N.Y., and daughter-in-law, Grace of Mesa, Ariz. He is also survived by his sisters Joy Wallace and Patricia Monroe, as well as his grandchildren, Mitchell, Riley, Justin, Caitlin, Nicholas, Julia, Tyler, Logan and Jessica.

Jerry was pre-deceased by his brother, Jackie, and his son, Bruce.
