WESTPORT — The town’s transfer station will be closed to residents Wednesday for a third week in a row.
The facility on Sherwood Island Connector will be off limits to the public so “necessary repair work” can take place, according to the announcement from the Department of Public Works.
However, as with the two previous closures, private residential and commercial haulers will be allowed to continue bringing trash to the station.
