WESTPORT — The town’s transfer station is scheduled to be closed to residents Wednesday, Aug. 25.
It marks the second consecutive Wednesday the station on Sherwood Island Connector will be off limits to the public because of repairs.
However, “private residential and commercial haulers will have access,” the town says.
The facility is scheduled to reopen for residents at 7 a.m. Thursday.
