WESTPORT — District 6 members of the Representative Town Meeting will convene Feb. 1 to appoint a replacement for the vacant seat previously held by the late Cathy Talmadge.

The meeting of the district’s three remaining members is set for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, in Town Hall’s Room 307.

Part of the meeting will take place in executive session as candidates for appointment to the seat are interviewed.

After the candidate interviews, the District 6 members are expected to vote on the appointee to the district’s fourth seat.
