WESTPORT — Politics and pizza are on the menu next week when the League of Women Voters of Westport hosts an informal gathering with Westport’s state legislators in advance of the new General Assembly session.

The gathering, open to the public, is set for 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6, at Pizza Lyfe, 833 Post Road East. There is no charge.

Slated to attend are state Reps. Jonathan Steinberg and Dominique Johnson, and state Sen. Ceci Maher. 

All three are Democrats re-elected in November. The new session of the state legislature in Hartford gets underway Jan. 8.

The legislators will discuss major issues expected to come before the General Assembly this year, and answer questions from the public.
