WESTPORT — Six Staples High School “Students of the Month” have been selected for April.

They are: seniors Charlotte Gurley and Tyler Darden, juniors Jonathan Dionne and Cade McGrath, and sophomores Jonah Bernstein and Vivian Shamie.

The honorees, nominated by teachers, help make the high school “a welcoming place for their peers and teachers alike,” according to the Staples announcement.

They also are “all-around good citizens” of the school, recognized for “the positive attitude they bring to school every day in making Staples High School a genial place in which to learn and teach.”
