WESTPORT — Six “Students of the Month” have been recognized at Satples High School.

They include: seniors Aviva Ross and Amire Williams, juniors Emmett Zahler and Benjamin Peterson, sophomore Giselle Colon and freshman Noa Katz.

Nominated by their teachers, students chosen for the distinction are considered the “glue” that knits together the Staples community, according to Principal Stafford Thomas.

They are considered “all-around good citizens” of the school, “who help make Staples High School a welcoming place for their peers and teachers alike,” the announcement states.
