WESTPORT–The Westport Transit District has announced a new promotional pricing plan.

From today through April 30, the price of a 10-trip bundle is only $18.00

“We’re always looking for ways to make transit more accessible and cost-effective for our community,” said Peter Gold, co-Director of the Westport Transit District. “By introducing this multi-trip discount, we’re making it even easier for Westporters to leave their cars at home.”

Daily parkers save money, time

With the daily cost of parking at the train station at $6.36, with the new Wheels2U bundle, a round-trip costs just $3.60.

And, since Wheels2U is a door-to-platform service, the time and hassle of walking from the daily lots is eliminated.

Karina Betfarhad, co-Director of the Westport Transit District, said “The “10 for 9” pass rewards regular riders and also makes occasional trips more economical, whether you are heading to the train station, downtown, or the Senior Center.  It is one more way we are helping residents save money while getting where they need to go, without the hassle or expense of parking.”

Pass doesn’t expire

The “10 for 9” promotional pricing begins today and ends April 30. Passes are available at the Wheels2U app. Though the promotional pricing ends in April, the passes will never expire.
