WESTPORT – The Westport Woman’s Club is accepting applications for its 2026 adult woman’s scholarship. The award supports women over 25 seeking to complete a degree after following a non-traditional path after high school.

Applications must be received by Oct.16 for the opportunity to receive up to $10,000 in tuition assistance.

Scholarships are based on financial need for those who have demonstrated resilience, resourcefulness, and a commitment to growth.

To be eligible, applicants must be aged 25 or older and not hold a bachelor’s degree or higher, although they may have college credits. In addition, they must reside in Fairfield County and demonstrate an eagerness and commitment to complete a degree.

Scholarships are for tuition only. Awards are sent directly to the college or university and are based on financial need, post-high school experiences, and scholastic record or a GED diploma. The applicant must be pursuing a four-year or two-year technical or vocational education, an associate’s degree, or certificate or vocational program in a professional field at an accredited U.S. institution.

The Westport Woman’s Club has been serving the community since 1907 through service and philanthropy and by providing grants, scholarships and service projects.
