WESTPORT — “Public” may not be in its name, but the Westport Library is reaching out for public feedback to a community survey about its current services and strategic plan for the future.

The 10-minute electronic survey, which respondents answer anonymously, is available by clicking this online address or at a computer kiosk at the Hub on the main level of the library, 20 Jesup Road.
Deadline to participate is May 31.
“This survey provides us with invaluable information to aid in that endeavor,” William Harmer, the library’s executive director, said in a statement announcing the survey.
“It also enables us to make the kind of data-driven decisions that we believe will maintain The Westport Library’s place as a true asset to the town and as one of the very best libraries in the country,” he added.
Comments will be used to guide the preparation of the library’s strategic plan, which is expected to be unveiled later this year.
Participants in the survey will be eligible to win prizes, which include two sets of Apple AirPods, free drinks at the library’s café, Amazon gift cards, and for teens studying at the library for AP exams delivery of 10 pizzas.
