
WESTPORT — In response to a call from the Ukraine president for a worldwide protest, a rally will be held Saturday, March 26, on the Ruth Steinkraus Cohen Memorial Bridge downtown at 11:30 a.m.
A coalition of participants — including Defenddemocracy.com, and one Ukrainian survivor of the notorious Dresden, Germany, bombings of World War II — have organized the event in response to President Volodymyr Zelensky’s request to mark the one-month anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The event is schedule from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Post Road bridge at the Saugatuck River, rain or shine.

Millions of people have been displaced and made homeless with no end in sight.
Bombs continue to rain down on civilians destroying lives and infrastructure.
Even If you can’t do anything else come to the peace rally to show the Ukrainians your support.
They will see it and know you were there for them.
