WESTPORT–General George Washington is eager for intelligence on British troop movements but to obtain the plans, he must rely on one of his spies.
That’s you.
The latest escape room experience at the Westport Museum for History and Culture bears this America 250 theme. Participants take on the role of spies for Washington relying on information left by a fellow spy, known as “The Lady.” She hid the intelligence in a strongbox behind a bar in a tavern.
The mission: Follow the many clues, unlock the strongbox and acquire the plans in 60 minutes, or be discovered by the enemy.
Located at 25 Avery Place, Westport, the museum has challenged puzzle-lovers and history buffs with escape rooms for four years. The current scenario is inspired by the nation’s celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
