WESTPORT — Residents, staff and First Selectwoman Jennifer Tooker gathered at the Gillespie Center on Thursday for Thanksgiving dinner.

Tooker helped serve the meal, which was prepared by Aux Delices and donated by a Melanie Smith, Homes for Hope President and CEO Helen McAlinden said.

Homes for Hope runs the Gillespie Center, a 15-bed emergency shelter for men on Jesup Road. It has a four-bed emergency shelter for women in the same building, Hoskins Place.

Homes for Hope provides case management services to individuals and families living in fifty-two units of Supportive Housing located in Westport and Norwalk, according to its website. Click here to learn more, donate, or get involved.
