WESTPORT — Volumes of volumes of all varieties will be on offer at the Westport Library’s four-day spring book sale starting May 16.

The sale, featuring “gently used” books in more than 50 categories, also will include a selection of vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, puzzles and framed artwork. There is no admission fee to enter the library, 20 Jesup Road.

The sale schedule follows:

Friday, May 16, noon-6 p.m. *For those who want a first look at the sale inventory, early-access admission is available starting at 8:45 a.m. by purchasing tickets in advance. Click here for details and to reserve tickets.

Saturday, May 17, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Sunday, May 18, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Most of the remaining inventory will be available at half-price.

Monday, May 19, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Shoppers can fill a Westport Library logo bag for $10; their own same-size bag for $8, or purchase individual books at half-price.

Other highlights of the spring sale include:

  • Copies of the Staples High School yearbook between 2000 and 2024.
  • A collection about the British monarchy, including books about Princess Diana and her children, as well as a porcelain Princess Diana bride doll by the Danbury Mint.
  • Novels by New York Times best-selling author Jane Green, a former Westport resident, translated into 17 languages.
  • An assortment of framed art in a variety of sizes, including photographs by Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist and Staples High School graduate Spencer Platt.
  • A wide variety of jigsaw puzzles.
  • A room filled with books on sale for $1 each, including hardcover fiction, mystery, science fiction and fantasy, young adult fiction and paperbacks.
