WESTPORT — U.S. Rep. Jim Himes is scheduled to speak to the Sept. 13 meeting of the Westport Sunrise Rotary Club.

Himes, serving his eighth term representing the 4th Congressional District, which includes Westport, will address the club’s meeting that gets underway at 7:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, at Greens Farms Congregational Church, 71 Hillandale Road. The congressman is expected to deliver his remarks at about 8 o’clock.

Himes, a Democrat seeking re-election in November, is the ranking member on the House of Representatives Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and also serves on the House Financial Services Committee.
