WESTPORT — The annual Artist Market, a holiday-themed event featuring a range of vendors, will be hosted Saturday by the Westport Farmers Market.

The marketplace will take place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at the farm market’s winter quarters, Gilbertie’s Herbs and Garden Center, 7 Sylvan Lane.

More than 40 artisans and makers are scheduled to participate, offering a diverse selection of hand-crafted goods. There also will be carolers, refreshments by Bubble & Brew and holiday trimmings from Gilbertie’s.

“We have so much talent in this area and what better way to celebrate it than hosting a holiday market,” Lori Cochran-Dougall, executive director of the Westport Farmers Market, said in a statement announcing the event. “This year we have had a few activities and special guests that will elevate the level of cheer.”
