
MILFORD–Singer-songwriter Michael Bolton, a Westport resident, will be among those inducted into the New England Music Hall of Fame (NEMHOF) on April 24.
The platinum-selling, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter will be welcomed into the hall of fame at the annual induction ceremony and benefit concert at 7 p.m. in Veterans Memorial Auditorium, 70 West River Street, Milford, Connecticut.
Other inductees in the 2026 class include
- Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Jackie DeShannon
- New Haven’s platinum-selling artist Barbara Fowler
- Grammy-winning Johnny Winter
- Grammy-winning Rick Derringer a former Colchester resident
This year’s NEMHOF media Awards will recognize outstanding artistic achievement:
- New Artist of the Year – The Bellas from New Jersey
- Artist of the Year – Greg Sherrod of Connecticut
- Album of the Year – “No Boundaries” by Arti Dixson of Connecticut
Bolton is a platinum-selling, Grammy-winning entertainer and longtime Westport resident. He won his first Grammy with 1989’s “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You.”
This year’s event is presented in association with Rock N 4 Vets and the Milford Arts Council for the Purple Pantry Boxes, a food pantry serving the greater Milford area.
The event will feature an all-star band.
