WESTPORT — Ever want to give orders to a cop? Here’s a chance to not only get away with it, but feel good in the process.

A “Tip-A-Cop” fundraiser, benefiting Special Olympics Connecticut, will take place from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Friday, April 25, at Rizzuto’s Oyster Bar and Restaurant, 540 Riverside Ave.

During the Tip-A-Cop event, police officers will work with restaurant staff, taking orders and serving meals to diners.

All tips collected by officers will be donated to help Special Olympics Connecticut “provide life-changing sports, health and fitness programs to athletes of all abilities,” according to the announcement by event organizers.
