WESTPORT — Harvest a farm-fresh crop of summer fun July 8 at Wakeman Town Farm’s annual “Family Fun Day.”

The event, with activities including food, games, farm-related crafts and visits to the menagerie, will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 8, at the community farm, 134 Cross Highway.

Among the features will be crafts centered around bees and butterflies, a scavenger hunt, a bubble show, a reading room, music performed by the School of Rock House Band and, of course, an opportunity to meet the farm’s animals.

Refreshments on offer will include ice cream, sandwiches, pizza, lemonade, iced coffee and cocktails for adults.
