FAIRFIELD — Audiences can enjoy some striking spring attire this week at a unique event to support the Fairfield Public Library’s programming and services.
The benefit fashion show will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, in the library’s Bruce S. Kershner Art Gallery. Local models will be wearing day and evening wear as well as traditional bridal attire from Fairfield-based fashion designer Jennifer Butler.
“Spring is on its way and we are happy to welcome back Jennifer Butler to kick off the season,” said town librarian Scott Jarzombek. “We hope to see many residents in attendance both to support a local designer and their local library—while enjoying a fun evening out.”
Kershner’s business has been based in Fairfield for the past 25 years. A board member of the Friends of the Fairfield Public Library, her bi-annual fashion shows have raised thousands of dollars for the library, particularly the teen department.
The suggested donation to attend is $50 per person. More information is available here.
