WESTPORT — The deadline is looming to apply for one of the annual grants offered by the Westport Woman’s Club to non-profit organizations in Fairfield County.

Proposals will be accepted by the club until Saturday, Oct. 30.

Projects “that will make a continuing difference in the community may be in the form of funds, or a one-time use of the Westport Woman’s Clubhouse for an event,” will be considered by the club, according to the WWC announcement.

Grants are annually awarded “to deserving organizations in education, health and safety-related programs and in the arts,” the club said. Grant recipients will be notified next spring.
