WESTPORT — “Chapter Two: Spanning from Retail to E-Tail,” a benefit to help expand job opportunities and training for adults with disabilities, is planned Oct. 25 by Westport Book Sales.

The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at the Westport Library, 20 Jesup Road.

“Chapter Two” will feature light bites, beverages, live music, and silent and live auctions of items featured by Westport Book Sales on eBay, as well as artwork and autographed books donated for the benefit.

Items up for auction include: a first edition of Saint-Exupery’s “The Little Prince,” a poster autographed by actor Sylvester Stallone, books signed by actress Laura Linney, two new copies of “The New Yorker in Westport” donated by authors Eve Potts and Andrew Bentley, work donated by local artists Nina Bentley, Miggs Burroughs, Kirsten Rao, Norm Siegel and Rowene Weems, and more. Funds raised will be used to help adults with disabilities learn the Westport Book Sales’ eBay online business, including training in computer, data-entry and office skills.
