WESTPORT — Cars of every kind, from roadsters to Rolls, are welcome to join the lineup for Saturday’s third annual “Car Cruise,” sponsored by the Westport Police Benevolent Association.
The event, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Westport Railroad Station’s parking lot #1, will benefit the PBA’s charities.
Owners of vehicles representing all models and years are invited to join the exhibition, according to PBA organizers. The fee to enter and display a car is $20, and owners of the first 100 cars to arrive Saturday will receive a gift bag.
Besides checking out the cars, attendees can enjoy music and food from JR’s Food Truck and Micallizi’s Italian Ice.
Raffle prizes also will be featured.
Money raised by the event will benefit PBA charities, which include the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, Special Olympics and Veterans and Families of Fallen Officers.
Rain date for the Car Cruise is Saturday, Aug. 21, at the same place and time.
