An early Halloween for tykes at Wakeman Town Farm

WESTPORT — The littlest super heroes and princesses are invited to step out Oct. 25 for a spirited — and musical — Halloween parade hosted by Wakeman Town Farm.

The event, planned for youngsters up to 5 years old, is set for 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at the community farm, 134 Cross Highway. Youngsters are encouraged to wear costumes.

Music for the parade and sing-along will be performed by Music Together of Fairfield, and children also will be able visit the farm’s animal menagerie.

Fittingly, the wee ones also will be given mini pumpkins, donated by Trader Joe’s.
