WESTPORT — Shopping — and buying — takes to downtown’s streets for the annual “Sidewalk Sale” event organized June 23-25 by the Westport Downtown Association.

Merchants along Main Street, Elm Street, Church Lane, Riverside Avenue, Sconset Square and Playhouse Square will be offering bargains al fresco from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each of the sale’s three days, according to event organizers.

Planners also advise shoppers to check the sales event website throughout the sale weekend for updated information about new in-store promotions.
