WESTPORT — Photographs by Julie O’Connor will be on display through July at the Westport Book Shop.

A reception for the exhibit is planned at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, at the store, 23 Jesup Road. To attend, call 203-349-5141 or email bookshop@westportbooksaleventures.org.

The exhibit, on display through July 31, features a diverse collection of O’Connor’s work from over the past four decades.

O’Connor’s photos have been displayed at and are in the permanent collection of the Chicago Art Institute. Her photojournalism has appeared in periodicals, including Time magazine, The New York Times, New York magazine and Travel & Leisure magazine.  

In 2008, she completed the fine-art photography book, “Doors of Weston: 300 Years of Passageways in a Connecticut Town.”

She is a member of the National Association of Women Artists, CT Women Artists, Salmagundi Club, the Silvermine Guild of Artists and Artists Collective of Westport.
