WESTPORT–Magician Michael Grandinetti, who has appeared on the CW’s “Masters of Illusion” and POP’s “Don’t Blink,” will work his illusions at the Westport Country Playhouse next month.

The Playhouse will present “The Magic of Michael Grandinetti: Master Illusionist,” on Sept. 4 at 8 p.m.

For more than two decades, Grandinetti has performed magic in a wide range of TV shows, stadiums, casinos, arenas and theaters, including football and basketball halftime shows, Fortune 500 company events and the White House according to the Internet Movie Database.

The website quotes him as saying, “I think a magic performance is a powerful experience because it creates a view of a world where there are no limits.”

He and his magic have been featured in more than shows geared toward magic, including the FOX TV show “Bones,” the “Bold and the Beautiful” and SportCenter.

“One of the world’s top touring illusionists, Grandinetti combines jaw-dropping magic from his TV appearances with music, comedy, and audience participation – creating an interactive experience that pulls the audience right into the show,” the Playhouse said in an announcement. “Legendary magic plots of levitation, teleportation, mind reading, and more, are reimagined for today’s audiences, making them more modern, surprising, and astounding.”
