WESTPORT, CT — The First Folk Sunday concert series kicks off its third season on Sunday, July 6 at 12:30 p.m. at the Saugatuck Rowing Club with a special tribute to Linda Ronstadt.
Performing Ronstadt’s legendary repertoire is no easy feat—but according to series producer Rozanne Gates, this concert is in the right hands. “We’re only able to do a Linda Ronstadt tribute because we have the two best possible singers,” said Gates. Suzanne Sheridan and her sister Christine Erskine have long performed Ronstadt’s songs privately, and now bring their voices—eerily close to Ronstadt’s—to the stage for a live audience.
They will be joined by First Folk Sunday veterans Bob Cooper on keyboards and Tim DeHuff on lead guitar. Sheridan will also play rhythm guitar.
In addition to live music, the Saugatuck Rowing Club will offer a First Folk Sunday brunch menu with signature cocktails.
Doors open at 12:00 p.m., and the show begins at 12:30 p.m..
The 2025 season includes six concerts, and early ticket purchases are highly recommended—every 2024 show sold out, according to Ms. Gates.
