WESTPORT — The art of fun, featuring music, munchies and a marketplace, will be in focus at a “Family Day” program hosted Sunday at MoCA CT.

Activities are planned from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, at the museum, 19 Newtown Turnpike. To register for tickets in advance online, click here.

An Artisan Marketplace, with a range of offerings by local artists and craftspeople, also will take place from noon to 4 p.m.

Attractions will include, from noon to 1 p.m., a demonstration of African drumming by Kwame’ Henry Jones, and from 1 to 2 p.m., jazz performed by Oran Etkin’s Timbalooloo.

Attendees also can explore “art tents,” where artists and teachers will explain “art mediums, allowing families to engage creatively,” according to event organizers.

Visitors also can view the museum galleries, including the current “ColleCTomania” exhibit.

Ice cream treats will be available from the South Norwalk Ice Cream truck.
