Leonard Cohen’s music featured at next ‘First Folk Sunday’ concert

WESTPORT — Music by Leonard Cohen will be showcased at the Aug. 6 “First Folk Sunday” concert.

The event will take place at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, at the Joseph J. Clinton VFW Post 399, 465 Riverside Ave.

To reserve $10 music tickets online, click here. Brunch is available at additional cost.

Performers will include Suzanne Sheridan on vocals and guitar, Bob Cooper on keyboards and Joe Meo on woodwind instruments.

In 2012, Sheridan’s band performed and recorded a concert of Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell music at Voices Café in Westport, according to a publicity release, and since then has performed Cohen’s repertoire at other venues.
