BRIDGEPORT — Downtown Cabaret Theatre has introduced a modern reimagining of a classic fairy tale, setting the Snow White story within the “once-magical kingdom” of a shopping mall.

Snow White & The Seven Shopkeepers will run each weekend through March 29th. Part of the Downtown Cabaret Theatre’s “Theatre for Young Audiences” program, the show is recommended for ages three to ten but welcomes all ages.

The story follows Snow White, her bluebird best friend, a bumbling mall cop, and seven eccentric shopkeepers as the protagonist faces off against the aspiring influencer Queenie. The tale focuses on “rediscovering the power of human connection in a world of Wi-Fi and digital wish lists, proving that true beauty is on the inside.”
