WESTPORT — Caravan of Thieves will bring a mix of “gypsy jazz” and stories to Voices Cafe next month.
The group will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 9, in the cafe at the Unitarian Church in Westport, 10 Lyons Plains Road. The performance also will be available via live stream.

Caravan of Thieves was formed by Fuzz and Carrie Sangiovanni, singer/songwriters who also play acoustic guitar. They are joined by Dan Foster on violin and Westport native Dan Asher on bass.
Initially inspired by the big band swing era, the Quintette du Hot Club de France and early American folk music, Caravan of Thieves over the years has developed a distinct musical style, according to publicity for the show.
The group has performed with a variety of artists, including Emmylou Harris, Dan Hicks, the Decemberists, Keb Mo, Tom Tom Club, Punch Brothers and others.
A portion of the concert proceeds will benefit community causes through the Unitarian Church in Westport’s social-justice programs.
