WESTPORT — Award-winning actress and singer Audra McDonald will perform a Feb. 10 concert benefiting the Westport Country Playhouse.

“An Evening with Audra McDonald: Songs from Broadway and the Great American Songbook” will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at the theater, 25 Powers Court.

Tickets for the fundraiser, on sale for $165 and $225, can be purchased online in advance by clicking here.

A limited number of $2,500 “VIP tickets” also are being sold, which include pre-show dinner at 5 p.m. and post-performance gathering with McDonald. McDonald’s longtime collaborator and music director Andy Einhorn will accompany her on piano for the Westport concert.

McDonald, known for her talents as a singer and actor, has won six Tony Awards, two Grammy Awards and an Emmy Award. 

Tony Awards were presented to McDonald for her performances in “Carousel,” “Master Class,” “Ragtime,” “A Raisin in the Sun,” “The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess” and “Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill,” for which she also was nominated for an Olivier Award in London.

McDonald won an Emmy as host of PBS’s “Live From Lincoln Center,” and is known for recurring roles on the television series “Private Practice,” “The Good Wife,” “The Good Fight” and “The Gilded Age.

Her film credits include Disney’s live-action “Beauty and the Beast” and the Aretha Franklin biopic, “Respect.”

In 2015, she received the National Medal of Arts from President Barack Obama.
