WESTPORT — Acoustic music will be showcased at a Sept. 7 Levitt Pavilion concert, featuring three musicians who joined forces during the initial COVID-19 lockdown.

“Orebolo,” featuring Rich Mitarotonda (vocals and guitar), Peter Anspach (vocals and guitar) and Jeff Arevalo (upright bass) — also musicians with the Connecticut rock group, Goose — will perform at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, at the ticketed concert.

Tickets can be purchased now by Levitt Pavilion members. Ticket sales for the general public go on sale at noon Monday, Aug. 22.

Orebolo was formed during the height of the 2020 COVID-19 surge when the three band members shared a house and “found comfort in both learning new covers and creatively exploring Goose’s deep catalog acoustically,” according to the Levitt publicity for the concert.

“Starting this project was a source of relief for all of us, especially during such a crazy time,” Anspach said of the pandemic lockdown in the press statement. “Our initial practice and recording space was inside our solarium — the vibe was really tranquil, and we wanted our listeners to share in that feeling.”
