WESTPORT — A piano performance of classical contemporary music was showcased Friday night at MoCA Westport.

Adam Tendler, a recent recipient of the Lincoln Center Award for Emerging Artists as well as a Yamaha Artist, was pianist for the concert.

Tendler’s repertoire included music by Aaron Copland, Philip Glass and Darius Milhaud.

Alexander Platt, curator for MoCA concerts, read selections from the novel, “Madame Bovary,” to accompany Tendler’s performance of Milhaud’s “Album of Madame Bovary,” written for the film version of the book.

The next concert in the “Music at MoCA”  series will be “Broadway Through the Ages,” staged outdoors and featuring Michelle Pauker.
