FAIRFIELD — Several community organizations are partnering to offer a free, family-friendly celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Fairfield’s Fourth Fest will run from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 4th, at the Fairfield Museum Commons. The event will feature a special performance by Fairfield Center Stage at 1 p.m., along with attractions including a beer garden, hands-on activities for children, and a bounce house.

Visitors are also invited to view the exhibitions at the Fairfield Museum & History Center. Admission to the museum is free through Nov. 25th in honor of the semiquincentennial thanks to a generous donation.

Fairfield’s Fourth Fest is a partnership between the Town of Fairfield, Fairfield Community Services, Experience Fairfield, and the Fairfield Museum & History Center.
