WESTPORT – A Westport-raised singer-songwriter and other musicians will offer an afternoon concert this weekend to raise funds for the Westport Library.

The event begins at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 16th at the Westport Library. Tickets are $20 per person, and all proceeds will benefit the library.
The concert is headlined by George Barrett, who was raised in Westport and is now based in Ohio. Barrett and his band are described as “blending the sophistication of jazz, the soul of 70s pop, and the warmth of human connection.” Barrett’s new album, Rearrange Things, will be released shortly before the concert on Friday, November 14th.
Joining Barrett is Brian Keane, an Emmy and Grammy Award winning composer and producer, and Nashville-based singer-songwriter Sarah Gross. Dan Woog of the Westport blog 06880 will lead a moderated conversations with the musicians prior to the performance.
