Town’s Christmas tree lighting set for Thursday

WESTPORT — Ceremonies to celebrate the lighting of the town’s Christmas tree will take place Thursday at Town Hall.

The event is set for 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, in front of the municipal office building, 110 Myrtle Ave.

The Orphenians, a choral group from Staples High School, will perform a selection of songs of the season.
