WESTPORT — Music resounded Saturday night along Church Lane, thanks to the “36 Nights of Dinner Music” program organized by the Westport Downtown Association.
With the street closed off Friday and Saturday evenings through the summer, diners are able to enjoy spacious seating at outdoor restaurants on the block.
Visitors also could simply stop and savor the music.
“It’s our little oasis,” said Boris Bystrov of Westport, who walked from his nearby home with his wife, Christine, and their twin girls, Mila and Sophia, 2.

“We love coming here and we love the music in the summer,” Christine said. “Strolling down Church Lane is the best part of the summer.”

Friend said this is the third time the duo gas played the downtown venue, which they enjoy. “It changes all the time,” he said, “because people are walking by all the time.”
