NORWALK — Staples High girls soccer bounced back from a 4-1 loss to visiting New Canaan on Wednesday with a 1-1 tie at Brien McMahon on Friday afternoon.
Maddie Johnson was assisted by Taylor Lunney in the McMahon game.
The Wreckers will look to pick up their first win Monday, Sept. 8, when they visit Norwalk at West Rocks Middle School starting at 6:30 p.m.
Staples returns home Thursday, Sept. 11 when Stamford comes to town to take on the Wreckers at the Wakeman B turf field at 4:30.
