WESTPORT — The winning streak has been stopped at six.

Staples High’s boys basketball team fell 55-39 to Trumbull in the Wreckers’ “Senior Night” contest Monday.

Senior Andrew Cerrito made his first start of the year and fellow final-year high school players Caleb Smith and Nick Sikorski were also honored.

Adam Udell and Sam Clachko both scored 13 points. Mason Tobias had seven and Sikorski added six.

The Wreckers are back at it Wednesday — Valentine’s Day — when Danbury visits at 7 p.m. (Game schedules are subject to change; click for the latest CIAC updates.)
