ORANGE–Staples boys golf, behind Even Sealove‘s first-place overall finish, took fifth among 12 teams in the CIAC Fall Classic at Orange Hills Country Club in Orange on Sept. 24.
Sealove carded a three under par 32 to lead the way. Staples had a team score of 152.
The Wreckers were coming off a 140-148 win at home over Trumbull on Sept. 22 and a 148-150 victory over visiting Fairfield Warde the next day.
On Wednesday, Sept. 29, Staples lost a 146-151 to Greenwich in another match at Longshore Golf Course.
