WESTPORT — Rowers from the Saugatuck Rowing Club proved to be “masterful” at a national competition last week in Florida.

The local team of rowers won the Women’s Points Trophy at the U.S. Rowing Masters National Championships in Sarasota, Fla.

The team members won multiple gold, silver and bronze medals over the course of the regatta to claim the trophy last Sunday.
