WESTPORT–Staples boys tennis won its fourth and fifth consecutive matches with a 7-0 victory at Bridgeport Central on Monday and a 5-2 decision at home against Trumbull on Tuesday. 

In the win over Central, Staples won each match 6-0, 6-0. Andrew Ridloff, Jack McAuley, Tyler Gorin and Beckett Frey all won at singles play. In doubles action, Micah Turner and Nick Trinchi, Evan Feuerstadt and Adrian Binder and Martin Ceballos-Cala and Jayan Sekhar all came out on top.

Against Trumbull, No. 2 singles players Robert Jacob won 4-6,-6-1, 6-3 and No. 4 Reid O’Brien won 6-1, 6-0. In doubles play, No, 1 Sebastian Elizondo and Ridloff along with No. 2 Kieran Anand and Jonny Greenspan both won 6-0, 6-0, and No. 3 Turner and Trinchi prevailed 6-3, 6-2.
