WESTPORT–The Historic District Commission recently waived the 180-day waiting period for a permit to demolish the house at 45 Westfair Drive.

The 1 ½-story cape was built in 1949. It has 1,300-square-feet of living space, two bedrooms, two baths, a basement area, an open porch and a finished half story.

The property traded hands in June for $838,000. The property’s current assessment is $340,700.

Westfair Drive is between Post Road East and Bulkley Avenue North.
