WESTPORT–The Building Department Tuesday issued a permit to demolish the house at 30 Jennie Lane.
The 1¾-story Colonial was built in 1963. It has 2,800-square-feet of living space, five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a garage, a screen porch, a brick patio, a wood deck, a finished half-story, a three quarter-story and an in-ground pool.
The property traded hands in February for $2,200,000. It had previously traded for $934,000 in 2002 and for $745,000 in 2000. The property’s current assessment is $713,000.
Jennie Lane is off of Narrow Rocks Road, which is off of Compo Road S.
