WESTPORT–The Building Department has issued a permit to demolish the house at 291 Saugatuck Ave.
The two-story ranch was built in 1964. It has 3,400-square-feet of living space, four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a half-bathroom, basement area, crawl space, garage, enclosed porch, open porch, wood deck, tennis court, dock and pier.
The property has been owned by the same entity since 1998; its current assessment is $4,163,500.
